The port city of Chumporn, consisdered the gateway to the south, is located 463 kms.from Bangkok and cover an area of 6,009 square kilometers. Along its 222-km.coatline, there are many beautiful beaches and bays as well as some offshore islands where visitors islands where visitors may enjoy diving and fishing.

Chumporn also abounds in fruit plantation and thick forest where a number of waterfalls and caves are hidden.

Chumporn is administratively divided into 8 districts : Amphoe Muang, Amphoe Lamae, Amphoe Lang Suang, Amphoe Pathiu, Amphoe Phato, Amphoe Sawi, Amphoe Tha Sae, and Amphoe Thung Tako.

Boundaries

On the North	Is Prachuap Khirikhan Provinces
On the South	Is Surat Thani province.
On the East	Is The Gulf of Thailand.
On the West	Is Ranong province and Myanmar.

Transportation

From Bangkok take Route 4 (Buddha Mondhol Street), passing the provinces of Petchburi, Prajuab-Kirikan,and at Chumporn.
